Northumbria Police

For this project we worked with the Northumbria Police Estates team to collect and develop a brief via extensive interaction with the workforce while leveraging our extensive and recent experience working with  Durham Constabulary. Our background in delivering effective workplace solutions for other law enforcement agencies, as well as international experience working with police forces in Hong Kong, also helped inform the design approach.

The project aims to create a modern, agile workspace that supports the evolving needs of Northumbria Police, enhancing collaboration, productivity, and officer well-being. By optimizing the use of space and incorporating flexible workstyles, the design solution sought to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Throughout the project, we drew upon our track record of delivering successful workplace solutions for the public sector, tailoring the design to meet the unique requirements of Northumbria Police. The outcome being fit-for-purpose workspace that aligns with the force’s strategic objectives and supports the well-being of its officers and staff.
